It’s not often that you see pink being used in the kitchen, unless it on cupcakes;) So when House Beautiful announced the 2015 Kitchen of the Year, I was surprised to see that it had a pink island!
I just love how the designer used pink to add a touch of feminine to a space that would otherwise have a very masculine look with out it. See more of the 2015 Kitchen of the Year here.
I think most people would never dream of choosing pink for their cabinets, yet sadly there are still many bad examples of people who have (just google pink kitchen and you’ll see what I mean). However, I did find a few examples of pink be used in a not so “Barbie” way that they may actually inspire you to take your love for pink to the next level in your home.
One of my favourite kitchens ever! I love the touches of pink in the curtains and the chandeliers are to. die. for.
Yes it’s bright, but oh so pretty!
This just makes me want to get my own apartment, in Paris. love.
Ok, this is more likely a dining room, but I can totally see this as a set up in a beautiful white kitchen.
